Larry and Selam – Quincy Neighborhood Club Wedding

Before we get into this blog I have to warn the readers of something – Selam and Larry are the most fashionable people I’ve ever met! Not joking. They are simply and hands down just a fantastically cute couple who always dress to impress. Nothing else to say. Every meeting that we had regarding their wedding photography at the Neighborhood Club in Quincy I had to do a mental double check to remind myself that I didn’t miss an email. “They are here for a meeting. Not a shoot.”

Not only do they ALWAYS look great, they are probably two of the nicest people you could ever meet. To say that I had a great time shooting their wedding would be a bit of an understatement. By the end it didn’t even feel like I was there to shoot. I learned after the shoot that I wasn’t the only one to feel that way given the following email I received from Selam after the wedding:

“I don’t know how to thank you enough. You were simply awesome! I forgot you were the photographer and you felt like one of our friends. Larry and I will be sure to spread the word about you. The teaser photos are so cute. Can’t wait to see more.”

Tewksbury Country Club Wedding – Danielle & Derek

I know I’ve said this a few times already but honestly I still can’t believe it. Every time I go to a wedding it amazes how nice everyone is. I swear I hadn’t even introduced myself to Derek’s Groomsmen before they were already offering me a seat and a beer as they hung outside on this sweltering Saturday afternoon. I knew right away we’d get along. Its probably a name thing!! The whole family laughed and jeered Derek all afternoon as he prepared for his wedding. I guess it helps that his brothers had already been through this before. They are the type of family you can tell how very tight knit and loving they are the moment you step in the door.

Tupper Manor Wedding Photography – Mark & Nicole

Kicking off the 2012 wedding season with my first blog post! The wedding was located at Tupper Manor in Beverly, MA. I was second shooting for the fabulous Molly of Molly Anne Photography. We shot this venue last year together so we were both fairly familiar with it at this point. They do a fantastic job there and can setup the venue in a variety of different layouts depending on what the client desires. As per normal protocol, I was with the guys in the pool room while Molly worked with the ladies as they prepared. We then came together for the first look followed by some set group and individual shots before the ceremony and reception.

Chris and Sara Elizabeth Park Wedding

Here are the rest of the blog images from Chris and Sarah’s Elizabeth Park Wedding where I was second shooting for the fabulous Molly Anne again. I spent most of my morning shooting the guys while Molly covered the ladies as they got ready at the brides house. This was such a fun wedding!! and to say that the rose garden was anything less than spectacular would be an understatement. It was such an incredible place to shoot.

A few days ago I was lucky to have the opportunity to be an assistant shooter for the extremely talented Molly of Molly Anne Photography. I had originally emailed Molly about my interest in breaking into wedding photography with a few questions about how to get started. She immediately emailed me back saying that I could come be an assistant shooter at a wedding she had coming up at the Tupper Manor in Beverly, MA just to gain some experience. The wedding was absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple to be given the opportunity to shoot!!
